World’s Happiest and UnHappiest Countries
According to a study conducted earlier(In the period of 2005 to 2009), the team at Gallup has come up with a list of Happiest Countries and Unhappiest countries. If you would like to know it, read on.
Note: this is somewhat old news. So if you have heard about this before, I am sorry, otherwise enjoy. 
The first 5 countries from the “happiest countries list are from Europe.
The Happiest Countries are:
1. Denmark
In Denmark around 82 percent of people find it easy to make their lives. 17% people are struggling to make the ends meet and just 1% of their people are suffering.
2. Finland
Thriving – 75%, Struggling – 23% and suffering: 2%
3. Norway
Thriving – 69%, Struggling – 31% and suffering: 0% <- no suffering people!
4. Sweden
Thriving – 68%, Struggling – 30% and suffering: 2%
5. Netherlands
Thriving – 67%, Struggling – 32% and suffering: 1%
6. Costa Rica
Thriving – 63%, Struggling – 35% and suffering: 2%
7. New Zealand
Thriving – 63%, Struggling – 35% and suffering: 2%
8. Canada
Thriving – 62%, Struggling – 36% and suffering: 2%
9. Israel
Thriving – 62%, Struggling – 35% and suffering: 3%
10. Australia
Thriving – 62%, Struggling – 35% and suffering: 3%
Now this sums up the list of happiest countries. Now here are the list of 10 unhappiest countries.
Most of the countries in this list are obviously from Africa.
1. Togo
In Togo only 1% of all people are finding it easy to make the ends meet. 67% people are struggling and rest32% of all people are suffering.
2. Burundi
Thriving – 2%, Struggling – 58% and suffering: 40%
3. Comoros
Thriving – 2%, Struggling – 75% and suffering: 23%
4. Cambodia
Thriving – 3%, Struggling – 75% and suffering: 22%
5. Sierra Leone
Thriving – 3%, Struggling – 74% and suffering: 23%
6. Burkina Faso
Thriving – 3%, Struggling – 71% and suffering: 26%
7. Rwanda
Thriving – 3%, Struggling – 75% and suffering: 22%
8. Niger
Thriving – 3%, Struggling – 86% and suffering: 11%
9. Haiti
Thriving – 4%, Struggling – 60% and suffering: 36%
10. Benin
Thriving – 4%, Struggling – 80% and suffering: 16%
Surprisingly only one country ends up from Asia in this “unhappiest countries list” and there is one country from Americas ie Haiti. :/
